About the instructors:

As fancy as she is filthy, Desiree De Carlo has made the stage her home, earning the tagline “Glamour Incarnate” and reigning as “Miss Nude Indiana”. A cofounder of Indy’s Rocket Doll Revue, Desiree has been dazzling audiences with burlesque magic since 2010. With her sparkling blend of showgirl charm and intoxicating sex appeal, Ms. De Carlo was born to entertain. Her journey into the spotlight began with 15 years of ballet training, which ingnited her passion for performance art. She has utilized her dance background as a springboard for teaching movement and stage confidence to others. In addition to performing and producing, she hosts the Lets Make A Date game show at White Rabbit Cabaret, and is the creator of the Burlesque Revealed training program.

Since making her burlesque debut in San Diego in 2017, Twirlisha Devine has performed, featured, headlined and competed all over the U.S. and internationally. She utilizes her experience as a former modern dancer and fitness professional to cultivate the burlesque workshops that she's had the honor of teaching across the country, and as a partner in Indy's Burlesque Revealed program at Nexxus Movement. In 2023 she launched Twirlisha Devine Productions - curating epic entertainment experiences in her Big Diva Energy showcases and Legends & Icons - An All Black Burlesque Revue. Known as "The Burn It Down Bitch of Burlesque", Twirlisha is just warming up and plans to continue teaching, producing and throwing her body around on stage for many moons to come.

About the studio: Nexxus Movement is dedicated to fostering connection and self-discovery through the art of pole dancing and other performance modalities. Our studio offers a safe and inclusive environment where individuals can explore their sensuality and embrace their passions. With a team of experienced instructors, we provide expert guidance and support to help individuals unlock their full potential. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced mover, Nexxus Movement is the perfect place to embark on a transformative journey of self-expression and empowerment.

The Burlesque Revealed training program was created for Nexxus in 2023. Instructors Desiree De Carlo and Twirlisha Devine have partnered to share their professional expertise with students. Together, these seasoned showgirls boast over 20 years of combined experience performing and producing in the burlesque industry. Their mission is to provide high quality education and heartfelt support to the next wave of burlesque entertainers!

layful Pee-wee Herman (Paul Reubens) operates a fantastical farm with talking animals and hot-dog trees. One day, after a giant tornado hits, Pee-wee finds a circus has landed in his yard. He befriends the manager, Mace Montana (Kris Kristofferson), and develops a crush on a trapeze performer (Valeria Golino), even though he already has a fiancée (Penelope Ann Miller). Pee-wee tries to excite the town about the new circus, but most of the residents want it gone and harass Pee-wee because of it.

Come for the show, stay for the party! Patrick Hinds (co-host of the podcasts True Crime Obsessed and Golden Girls Deep Dive Podcast) is bringing his one of a kind storytelling event back across the country.

This time he’s mashing up a hilariously disastrous evening he spent with Golden Girls ICON Bea Arthur (he loved her, she hated him) with the unexpected arrival of his newborn daughter. And when the show is over (about 50 minutes), Patrick will meet you at the venue bar for cocktails, pictures, and laughs. And as a special treat, Bea Arthur impersonator Jason B. Schmidt appears via video as Bea from beyond the grave. She’s drunk and in no mood. You really don’t want to miss this.
